Our Safari explores the unique countryside,
coastline and towns that make up this fascinating country
that was formerly part of the USSR. The biking is very leisurely
as the country is not hilly.
You start our safari in Klaipeda from where
you cycle on asphalt bicycle paths of the newly reconstructed
Lithuanian Seaside Cycle Route; en route you will cross 24
km long Klapeida Canal (also known as King Wilhem's Canal);
you will explore Silute town and River Delta Regional Park.
En route to Vente Cape you may visit a bird ringing station
with a museum of ornithology and 19th century lighthouse which
offerf amazing views of the colossal sand dunes on the Curonian
Spit (reached by boat trip across a lagoon). You will spend
a day in one of the most beautiful resorts of Lithuania -
Nida.
