Sicily’s strategic position in the middle
of the Mediterranean has produced a wonderful fusion of art
and architecture.
Our tour starts in Palermo with a transfer
to the tiny seaside village of Scopella. We cycle to the ancient
town of Erice, enjoy a rich Italian coffee and then cruise
downhill to the sea and the town of Marsala, famous for its
skilled cuisine using only the freshest fish. There follows
an easy cycle through the Marsala vine-yards where we can
sample the local wine before continuing onto Mazzara del Vallo,
one of the largest fishing harbours in the Mediterranean.
Midweek we leave the coast and turn inland to the secluded
heart of the island, and authentic Sicilian towns. We explore
the interior of Sicily where nature and history come together
to give you a complete idea of the island. Our tour finishes
in Monreale with its cathedral of shining gold before returning
to Palermo.
We run both guided & self guided tours in Sicily for you
